Shut Down: Spring is here- Fasten your seatbelt!!!

DOC says all is great!!!! Just returned from my regular check up with Dr. Fonseca and all news is good. In fact, some of the indicators have even gone down alittle more. Now, it's get ready for summer and schedule my next appointment in six months!!

Speaking of getting ready for summer, fasten your seat belts. Alot is going on since my last update.

First, our ranch manager/ caretaker has left us!! Sarah had been with us since she was 19- Just about 15 years! It seems her husband was not happy with the free house and salary we provided and decided to buy his own home in Redvale, CO about an hour away from us. We knew something was up, but we didn't expect it to end as abruptly as it did. Last Thurs nite, Susan and I received a phone call from Derry which went something like this. " As of tomorrow nite( Friday) Sarah will no longer be working for you and we are moving out!!" Soooooo, there we were--- In Arizona---- 28 animals in Placerville---- AND no one to take care of them. Oh and not to mention I was having my check up on Monday!!!

Never fear Monte and Sue and Hildi were there!!!!! Thank heavens for good friends. Within an hour we had it all covered and Susan and I are continuing on our AZ project!

What project you might ask! Well, as many of you know, we have been looking for a house in the Bouldershttp://www.theboulders.com/ for several years. Guess what! We found one. Little did we think that we would be buying a house on this trip to AZ. But, we DID !! It's just what we have been looking for. Three bedroom, older spanish style home right on the 11th fairway of the golf course! "The Hacienda"-- SOOOO, within 3 days we put in an offer and they took it. We CLOSE on May 5th! Before that however, a very special thank you to all that stay in touch! This check up was a tough one, but with everyones encouragement, it was a breeze.
