Happy New Year everyone!!!
Well, finally an update! The holiday season was a busy one as we spent Thanksgiving and Christmas in Lafayette with all the kids! Sandy escorted his grandmother all the way from Chester, VT. and both he and " Nana" spent the entire 2 weeks with us for a wonderful Christmas holiday.
Christmas had a few little curveballs as Zoe decided to get sick on Christmas morning. Luckily, Aldie and Brooke live about 10 minutes apart so it was easy to go back and forth. Here's the scenario. Susan goes to Alden's at 6 am for presents with the boys while Steve, Sandy and Nana leisurely make their way to Brooke's around 8:30am for a nice breakfast and then brief present opening. Now the fun begins!!!! Steve, Sandy and Nana now go to Aldens around 1pm to exchange gifts with that crew. The, load up Mike and Brooke's family presents and head back to Brooke's at 3 pm for a present exchange there. Remember, this is all spontaneous because of Zoe's little thow up problem. Oh, and after the present exchange at Brooke's, it's back to Alden's for Christmas dinner sans the Kugler family.
Needless to say, it was a very busy day,but lots of fun for all of us.
We travelled back to T-ride the next day and started skiing in ernest to get ready for this weeks races at Winter Park. These are perhaps the toughest of the season so it should be interesting. Stay Tuned or check out http://www.rmmskiracing.org/.
And finally, did I mention that the doctor doesn't want to see me until April. I'm taking that as a green light for winter activities, soooo stand clear!!! Here we go!!!
Oh, about a few holiday pictures!
Happy New Year!!!
